    MS Access Version problem

    Hi,

I am having two mdb files both Access 97 version.
Now in my system I have installed MS Access 2003, I need to modify one mdb file ,So to modify we need to convert this one to Access 2000 .

The first mdb file (97 ver) is calling the second mdb(converted 2000 ver) file, I am getting some errors while doing so.

If I did not convert the second mdb file to 2000 ver ,it works fine.

Kindly let during conversion what are the I should have to take care about.

It is better if you maintain both files in the same version. You can use access ver.97 database (Back-End) from ver.2000 database(Front-End). Not the other way round.

Old version Database conversion to a later version is done by Microsoft Access automatically.
