Copy-paste every other record into bew table

    Hello to all ,

I am kind of stuck here and really apreciate help. I upload an excel file into Acceess that I don't control the excel file .It is delivered to our firm via an e-mail and it is from a large usa bank. The problem is that the file is downloaded into two records for each account such as the below:

    F1 F2 F3 F4 F5
1 DATA DATA DATA DATA DATA
2 DATA DATA DATA DATA DATA
3 DATA DATA DATA DATA DATA
4 DATA DATA DATA DATA DATA
The data consisted names, adreesses, phone numbres and so on , but they are break up into two records for each account. I am trying to copy-paste every second record ( record 2,4,6, and so on) into new table and create cross bar query to combine all datas for each account.

Thank you in advance for help,
    Best Regards,
    BorisGomel

I'm not sure I understand. Are you trying to put all data into one record per customer or ignore the customer information and only copy the "data"?

    copy-paste every second records

    Thnak you aytee111,
Datas are information, however, the infrormations are in the table have been uploaded from excel file into two records for one account. In the example below the data in record 1 and 2 belongs to one account , the datas in records 3 and 4 belong to another account and so on. The datas by themseves are dates, names, adressees, phones, alliance, transactions ,file number -everythings belong to one person that is the per one account or per file number.
    f1 F2 F3 F4 F5
1 DATA DATA DATA DATA DATA
2 DATA DATA DATA DATA DATA
3 DATA DATA DATA DATA DATA
4 DATA DATA DATA DATA DATA

I would like to have all information per file number in one record so that I can work with it. I am not sure how can I do it. The table has five fields in each row and total 10 fields belongs to one file number.
Thank you in advance for help,
    The Best Regards,

    BorisGomel

I'm sure there is a way to identify the two rows. I know you can't provide real data - can you provide an Excel file with data for 3 customers? There is no need for the data to be real, but I need to see what you are faced with.

the data in record 1 and 2 belongs to one account
Do any of the fields represent the account? What exactly ties record 1 and 2 to the account?

As aytee111 has said, a few sample records may be enough for someone to come up with a solution ( or part of a solution).

    copy-paste every second records

    Good Evening,

I have attached the file in txt extension that we recieve by e-mail from the bank . The format is very awfull, please forgive me for that. As you open the file you see two rows of datas belongs to one account in that file. The files from them are in that format, a lillte bit more columns in ones files than in others, but you have a picture if you look at the file. I upload them into excel and than transfer excel file into access.

Thank you in advance for help,
    The best regards,
    BorisGomel
