Having troble creating a working Accde

Hi,
I have made a Acccde from this app many times and had no problem.
In fact older Accdes work. However, now when I make one and I click on any button or link in it nothing happens. The associated accdb works fine but the accdes do not. I typed looking at security but this is set to enable macros like it always is. I tried recompiling the accdb and running compact and repair, but nothing seems to help; and there is no error messages.
Any ideas would be really appreciated.
Note: This is in MS Access 2007 and being run on Windows XP machines.
