Connecting to a new table in the BE

I've made a few changes to my db and created a new table in the back end. I now want to link my FE to that new table and I can't see how.
It doesn't appear in the linked table manager. What do I do ?

Look at the Import area on the External Data tab of the ribbon. You can choose to link rather than import.
