Possible move in the right direction: Each section of the main report is page separated. Why? No clue, just happened to do that. So I tried to tell Query1 to requirey at the end of each main report page (main report event "On Page"). The problem is this throws and error that says the table in use (therefore my make-table cannot override it). Is there a way to unlock it?

Another possibility: I was trying to do cascading Queries (that dont involve make tables). The problem here is the Stephan Leban code only works for querying a table, not querying a query (or at least from what I have tested, but not sure if I was doing it right). If it were possible to do the numbering on the query of a query this would probably easier.

Wow... Found a WAY easier way to do this. Set a field =1 and turn on Running Sum, Over Group.
