Attachments to Forms

Hi need some help. (Access 2007)



I have form with field where I can upload attachments, however when i open it the "add" and "remove" functions are dimmed. In the related table I have no problem adding or removing attachments only in the form.
What could be the problem?

Are you able to edit other data on the form? Could the form AllowEdits property be set to No?

Actually no, I can not but in the property sheet for the form " allow edits" is set to "yes"

Is the form RecordSource just the table or a query?

I just tested an attachment field on a form and worked fine. Would have to analyse your project if you want to provide it.

Problem solved. It was two fold, on one of the linked tables, the "index property" was set incorrectly (should be "yes(no duplicates)" and on the actual form the "data entry" property had to be set to "No".
