Question yes/no fields as check boxes

    Hi guys,

i am creating a report in which i have seven yes/no fields.
when i view my report, i get the usual -1 for yes, 0 for no.

i would like to be able to view the -1 as a check mark and a 0 as a blank.
i have tried the following tip: http://allenbrowne.com/ser-52.html
but it is just returning the symbol for -1 and the symbol for 0.

any ideas on how to approach this?

    thanks so much all!

    -Jorge

Are they textboxes? You can change them to check box.

I tested Allen's method and it works. Don't like it for data entry.

Why aren't you using a checkbox control?

I often use a combobox for Yes/No fields. Format for Yes/No. Displays Yes/No. User Enters Yes/No.

yes they are text boxes, i had already tried to change them by right clicking the text box, going to 'change to' but the checkbox option is grayed out.

So delete the textbox and create checkbox.
