Do NOT have spaces or special characters in table or object names.

I am new to creating databases, but I am sure someone will suggest some of the following. A form or report can calculate the current age and length of service.

The pay rates, titles, qualifications, regions and other items are not unique to the employee so they should have their own table, and when the employee record is created, it looks up the data for qualifications, regions and such from their tables so the information is consistent, not mistyped or made up.
