    Access Report: List Detail Horizontally

    Hello everyone,

I have a table with two fields:

NameField - name of one of our researchers
CollabField - other people that the researcher collaborates with.

When I create a query and a report, naturally it looks like:

    Researcher 1
    Collaborator 1
    Collaborator 2
    Collaborator 3
    etc
    Researcher 2
    Collaborator 1
    Collaborator 2
    Collaborator 3
    etc

Is it possible to get a report to display as follows:
    Researcher 1- Collaborator 1, Collaborator 2, Collaborator 3, etc
    Researcher 2- Collaborator 1, Collaborator 2, Collaborator 3, etc

A quick google search of this issue indicated that a crosstab query might be the way to go, but I'm not able to do a crosstab query, since you need at least 3 fields, and I only have 2.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

    Ryan

You can use a function like this:

Return a concatenated list of sub-record values
