    Form Pic Lists

I have created a form with a cell where the user chooses one of two items from a dropdown pic list. If the user chooses item one from the list, he just continues to complete the form. If the second item is picked from the list, I would like an event to initiate. Perhaps just a flyout windom which alerts the user to review additional reference documents.

I appriciate any help I could get.

You can use the after update event of the combo, test the value selected, and take the appropriate action.

    Code:
    If Me.ComboName = "Whatever" Then
         'initiate your action
    End If

    Thanks Paul

I should have mentioned right up front, I am new to Access. I will see if I can figure out how to build the prefered event. Chances are I will be back asking for help but, best way to learn it is through trial and error..

    Thanks again
