    cannot opend db exclusively

I'm getting the following error when trying to open my database exclusively...

"You can't open 'db' for exclusive use because another user has the database open or because you do not have permissions to open exclusively."

I'm about 99.9% sure no one else has this database open and about 97.9% sure that my permissions haven't changed since last friday when I was able to open the database exclusively.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening?

I restarted my computer and am now able to open exclusively, but I'm still curious why that would've happened... Lock file isn't releasing for some reason??

Yeah - if you had an .ldb file in the directory from a dirty close you would get that error.

Yeah, I figured it was something simple like that. Thanks for the reply.
