Help On Comparing Quantity in Tables

    Hello,

As you probably can tell after reading this, I don't know how to use Access very well so please help me!

    Please view attached file.

I'm going to try to explain this the best as I can.
We have containers that come overseas with different parts in them. Each container contains different number of parts all with different quantities. We then supply these parts to other companies from our warehouse.

We have to match our incoming quantity with our outgoing materials. Can someone show me how to do this? I attached a sample database with two tables, One is outgoing materials and one is incoming materials.

Thanks in advanced for your help!
Let me know if you need more info.

I am not a pro, however, after reading your description, I would think you would need perhaps add few more tables than just incoming and outgoing. Once you have those, you will need to create a relationship diagram to see how they work together. Once that is done, it will be much easier to match the result (query) what you're looking for.
