    Using Where Clause

I am fairly new to Access. I have created a simple database that my small business will be using for a payroll system. I have created a form that allows the employee to input their hours, and I have created a form that allows them to find a specific date so they can edit their hours. However, I cannot get it to open the form to the correct date. I am assuming the best way is to use a where clause, but I must be writing it incorrectly. I have never used the where clause before. Thanks in advance for any help.

That worked when I created a new form and input that code, which I was trying to avoid. I was hoping I could use the same form just have it populated from various sources. Either way, thanks for the help, I got everything working.
