Hi everyone. Thank you in advance for any ideas ... I have an access db that links to a Pervasive database. I administer the database in 2010 version but one of my user is still on 2000 (he wont change so thats not an option). I had to change the ODBC for a small group of tables. The links are working on my end but not his - he gets an ODBC error.
Any ideas on why this is happening and how to resolve it? Thanks!

Yep, it is likely because of the way the newer version links ODBC. You will need to link from 2000 to make it work for him. And, if he won't change, then soon he will be in serious trouble because there will be a point in time where it will not work for him at all. I can understand not wanting to change, but change does happen and these things move forward.
The only real way to make this work consistently, would be to keep EVERYONE on 2000 and not have anyone upgraded until it was a necessity due to the operating system not supporting it anymore.
