    Grouping by Month in Report

    Good Afternoon

Not sure if I've done this right. I want a report showing everybody's Birthday, grouped by Month.

I have run a query, specifying DOB is not blank and added a column:

    Month([DateOfBirth]).

This allowed me to add a grouping level of the month when I generated the report.

But on the report it just shows the number of the month.

Is there any way to format this? so that it doesn't do that? or do I just need a twelve-level 'If' statement?

    THanks
    Chris

Add another field to your query : Format([datename],"mmmm")
