    Conditional formatting on reports

I've set conditional formatting on my report (background color green when field="Level 1" for example). However, the color only shows when I open the report and click on the field. Is there a way to 1) have the color show all the time on the screen and 2) make sure the color is going to show when I print?

    Thank you for any assistance.

Make sure to set the backstyle of the control to NORMAL as it is likely set to TRANSPARENT right now.

This worked! Thank you so very much. I looked through all the property settings and didn't even think of changing that setting. I truly appreciate it!
