    Don't delete anything.

You could forward it to one of the file shared services like http://www.4shared.com or box.net ....
They are free. Just put the link on here and I can get it.

When the database opens a module will run depending on the date where you are. This only happens on first open and the module should take about 10 seconds or so. The Switchboard will appear. Select 'View/Edit Student Reports' which will open a 'Report Type' pop up screen. Select 'Mid Term and End Term....etc'. Another Switchboard will open. Select 'View/Edit Reports by Teacher, Subject and YearGroup. Select any Teacher. Next Pop up, select any yeargroup.

The next pop up is where the problem is. Try to select a subject. If you can see the list of subjects at this point then your set up is not experiencing the same problems as several of the 2003 users have. If the list is blank, then over to you!

All of the subjects appear in a quite bold, black font. No problem with the list at this end.
    I am running Acc2003, windows XP SP3

Many thanks Orange, I think that confirms that it is a configuration problem with the PCs using the system. I think that the tech guys will have to image a configuration that is running properly and copy that image to each of the PCs that will use the system.

I noticed a quick way of checking which ones work and which don't. The 'quit' button on the main switchboard seems to lose the icon and does not close the database on the same PCs that the subject list appears blank.

Thank you for your help, I'll get back to the techys and tell them to find a solution.

    Rob
