New to the relm of using Access. Been stumbling along, and need some advice.



I have 2 Excel spreadsheets with data linked to my access DB. I am trying to combine and sort data between them to some degree.
They are for our fire department and to explain a little...

One spreadsheet has members name, and dates available. (Table 1) The other has date of run and the member name. (Table 2) I need to be able to print a report that compares a run date from Table 2 to the availability of a member on Table 1 and give a point value of 1 if they were available or 0 if not available at the time of the run.

I also will need to take this data and then figure overall the # of calls that were made compared to the # of runs there were and come up with a percentage point that was made.

I have all the data and have linked together, just don't know enough about Access to spit out the report I neeed.
