Filter Multiple Forms from one option box

Newbie here; I am using multiple forms to update a table that contains several categories of data for personnel. The first form is the dashboard and the end user uses it to view a brief summary of the employee. From this form I will have several end users entering data of different categories, so I have 5 other forms specific to the data category.

I want to use an option box on form 1 that filters all other forms that are opened (form 1 stays open until the end user exits).

The option box has 4 buttons and the field I want to filter contains text.

    You can use this technique:

    BaldyWeb wherecondition

or base the other forms on a parameter query that gets the criteria from that form.
