One page report is printing as 666 pages

I have a report that consists of five sub-reports. The report should print eight records (of test data). When I preview the report, it is 666 pages ... all exactly the same. It's not trying to print 666 copies of the report, the report is 666 pages long. I have never encountered anything like this. What on earth could possibly be causing this?

Could be a number of things. First thing I'd look at is the Source of the main report. Make sure it's only 8 records Second look at the Source of each sub report validate the number of records in each. Next look at where the sub reports are located and what is the criteria for the sub reports. For example
Main query returns 8 records
Sub Report 1 returns 8 Records
Sub report 2 returns 8 records

Sub Report 1 is in the Detail section of the main report
Sub report 2 is in the detail section of sub report 1

Main Report will print 64 copies of subreport 1 and 512 copies of Sub Report 2

I copied and pasted it into a new report and it works. After all the crazy problems I've run into creating this database, I don't even care why anymore ... I'm just glad it's done! Thanks for your suggestions.
