    Create a Catalogue Database

    HI,

I want to create a database made up of profile code classed into families. The database is supposed to keep the following item:

    - name of the profile in the form F99999, where 8 refers to digit, the first letter is always F
    - a jpeg PICTURE cut to fit a certain dimension,
    - the length of the profile which is 5.0,5.85,6.5
    - the X-inertia and Y-inertia which is up to 2 decimal place
    - the family of the profile which should be fetch from another table

I want to create it in MS ACCESS, compile it into an EXE.

Can anybody give me some hints where to start and how to proceed please.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Nicolas.

The area where I need most of the help is about creating a list box and the picture field. I have used OLE Object and the result is a "Long Binary Data" displayed in the record, and no dialogue box asking for the jpeg file. In Design View, there are only Caption, Required and Text Align.
