    Adding 1500 photos!

    Hello everyone,

A question I'd like to explore before embarking on this finger crushing task:

What is the most efficient way of adding about 1500 photos into a database?

Since i'm quite new to access, i'd also like to add a secondary question:

What is the best way to add photos in general?

I've seen on previous posts: DBpix @ http://www.ammara.com/ - which looks good - does anyone have an opinion on it?

    Thanks!

For now there are 3 options for images in Access.

    1. Attachment fields - not bad for small databases, but its a bit ugly for end-users.
    2. Hand-made solution vith VBA scripting - a lot of work and problems, but you'll get to know Access better.
    3. Third-party ActiveX like DBPix or AccessImagine (i'm a dev member of it).

Take a look at AccessImagine image control, we developed it, because DBPix was not good enough. Ofc, I shouldn't say that, but its the truth.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
