    need help in sync tables

    Hi,
I have a very old app which is using 97-2000 mdb as a backend via system dsn (odbc)
Application uses Borland to communicate with database.
Now I want to update a specific table in same mdb file

Update data can be taken from a one more mdb or CSV or xls file.
Issue is I cannot open 1st mdb file while it is in use by existing app.
I can create one more odbc name for it.
But I don't have any programing skills, so want help on a utility which will take a table from one mdb and paste it in 2nd mdb table.
Both mdb are on same system. And both can be accessed via odbc.

    Hi,

it looks like the app that uses the mdb has opened the database in exclusive mode preventing other users to open it. Maybe you could check if the app needs exclusive access to the mdb and change this.
