Field ID Showing on report

Hi,
i have created a report based on a query, however when i generate the report it shows the ID nº for the job nº field instead of the actual job nº. it is fine on the query & table & i cant find an option to change the bound column... help.....

properties of the various sections and fields?
I understand your post to mean that when you run the query on which your report is based, you see all of the data that you want to put into the report...Correct?

yes that is correct. it is showing the job nº fine on the query my report is based on but on the actual report it show the ID number of the job nº fied....

open the report in design view and change the source name (on the properties sheet) in the report field where the Job ID is showing up.
