Is it an Access mdb/accdb file? What happens if you hold the shift key down as you open the project?

Holding down the shift key makes no difference.
It is an .mdb file with front end.
You can't even open the project by holding shift key?
I don't know that you can ever recover the password. I don't have any password protected projects.
Can you import to a new project?
Might be some third party software that could recover the project.

Holding down the shift key does not work.
Front end and back end of database no longer link properly.
Did you try creating new project and importing objects?

Hi, you can easily recover your access password. For this you need to take help of Access password recovery software. This software use brute force attack technique in order to recover password.
Now have password but..front end still does not link to back end.
Front end is executable file. Is there a way to modify it? It looks like it is pointing to the right location but keep getting error that location does not exist.
You would have to modify the frontend file to use the information. It is hard to say what it is using to connect if it isn't an Access frontend. You would probably need to have the source code of the frontend to be able to make a change and recompile into a new exe file. But could there be an ini file or something in the same directory as the frontend file which lets you change some options?
Make sure you have the necessary user's privilege to the the folder in which the back end resides
