    hi all,

    from 09-Sep-11 to 17-Oct-11 Annual Leave 401748

i have this record in my table leavestart, leaveend, leavetype and id number

wrongly if i insert for same id number another leave type between existing period what should i do to get pop up alert that you already update leave in this period.

    Cool

i need when i insert at that time alert should appear and inform me that you already update this leavetype between this period

for example i have leave from 01-09-11 to 15-09-11 against 416555 id
but when i will insert for same id number 05-09-11 to 10-09-11 another leavetype it should tell me that you can't insert leave during this period because you have leave for same id number in this period

Yes, I know. You would add a criteria for the ID. You'll need to do the test yourself; I don't know of a validation rule or anything that will do it for you.
