Autofill a field once a Form is Selected from Switchboard

Is there any way to do this. I have about 7 forms on the switchboard. I would like to have a field automatically fill-in once a specific form is selected. The form is set to filter on "Annual Contract", (which is a description column (hidden on form) with the word "Annual Contract" in it) when the Annual Contract Form is loaded, but then to take it a step further, when an individual wants to add a record, if the description column is hidden, is there any other way to make the description column automatically populate "Annual Contract" when a new record is to be added?

I hope this makes sense. Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Does setting the default value property of that textbox work for you? It will be applied whether the textbox is visible or not.

Awesome, that did the trick!!! I set the default value within the form itself, rather than in the table. Thank you so much!
