Help How to add page count to Parent Child Form

I apologize if this topic has already been discussed in another trend but I searched and could not find anything.



I have created a form used for accounting that has a parent child relationship or basically a form with a sub form. I would like the parent form to display the page count based on the number of pages the child produces. Each time the relationship data in the parent form changes, I would like the page count to reset. In my case the relationship between parent and child is Fund Dept. So each time the Fund Dept header data changes on the parent form, I would like to the page count to reset. Also I would like it to be in this format "1 of 1".

I tried using:
="Page " & [Page] & " of " & [Pages]
Unfortunately it gives me the count of all pages with resetting based on the change in relationship data displayed on the parent form.

Are you using this for printing or for entry? Form pages are specific to printing but forms are not optimized for printing. If you want page numbers and such, use a report, not a form.

I'm using this for printing. Everything works perfect but the page count. Other than converting the whole thing to a report, any suggestions on a formula that might work? Thanks!
