    Command Button Problem is Subform

    Hi

I have a subform in which I want to put in a Command Button to open another form.

I used the wizard as per normal, but when you come to matching specific data fields, there is nothing in my left hand column of the sub form. I have checked the record source property and it is bound to the correct table.

I have read that this is an issue with Access 2007? Is this the case or am I missing somethnig obvious here?

    Advice please?

    Hi,

don't forget if you refer to fields opened as a subform you have to reference them as such. Like forms![name main form]![name subform control].Form![name field]

Not sure if explained clearly, this is the command button wizard, where you are given two options of showing all records or showing specific records? I click specific records and you have to match the fields from current form (subform) and the form you are opening). There is nothing match in the left hand column

    Cheers

Just type it then, it's not because Access can't find it automatically, you can't type the name of the field.
