    Hey, Needing some help

I have only been using access for a couple of months now, and i have been having trouble building my database

Basicly, all i want to do is.... when i search something by using a query, i want it to be able to open what i searched in a form and not on the datasheet.... everytime i do a search, it opens up a data sheet and i want it to open up in a form so its easy to read

    Much thanks

    Nat

The query must be the RecordSource for the form. Controls (text, combo, list boxes) must be bound to fields of RecordSource to show the data. Check out tutorials on this site http://datapigtechnologies.com/AccessMain.htm Look at the ones under Access Forms: Custom Filter, Basic Search
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
