You are trying to do this in a table. Not possible. This must be done on a form as it requires code.

Build a form to interface with table using dependent (cascading) combo and list boxes. Check this tutorial http://www.datapigtechnologies.com/f...combobox2.html

However, even this will not work well if the form is displaying in Datasheet or Continuous View.

If you are getting a prompt then setup is not correct. The input should be from the form.

I don't really understand what you want to show in the third combobox. Your diagram did not attach to post.

ive change it two combo boxes.

    Column1
    m-Demo
    w-demo
    m-performance
    w-performance
    junior
    m-snowboard
    w-snowboard
    j-snowboard

    column2
    is a product list

the query im using for column 2 has the following information inside
    Equipment id
    equipment type
    package type
    make model size (of Product)

    Combo box one
is my own list i type in (listed above in the column one)

    Combo box two
is the list pulling from my query discribe from above.
im only pulling the information from make model size and i included equipment id .

i only want column2 to bring up m-demo ski's products if its selected in column 1. and the same for all the others. watching his video was great, but i think i might be missing a setup on setting up a tree list or tree view im not to sure.

i hope this helps out a little more.

Can't advise with knowing specifics of your data structure. You have a table that relates products with the categories of combo 1?

Show combo 2 RowSource SQL statement.

    Post project for analysis.
