Linked tables SQL Server login popup

Using linked tables from SQL Server in a form. Can't use trusted connection and don't want to save password in plain text. Is there still a way to get rid of the login popup?

If you are using network security to log in you can set your ODBC connection to use your windows network user/pw information instead of prompting you for it. You just have to set up the permissions in SQL correctly for all the potential users.

Yes, but that is a Trusted Connection, it works, but in this case I can't use it. Is there another way?

setting a trusted item and using windows network settings to inherit SQL permission are two different things.

This is a screen shot from one of my odbc connections. You likely have the second option 'With SQL server authentication...'. That's why you're getting prompted every time. If you set up your users so they have the same username/password as their network log in in your SQL database and give them the appropriate permission on the SQL side you won't get prompted anymore.
