Question: SigmaPlot macro syntax error

[Captain Database ...!!]

I'm trying to graph some data from my database file in SigmaPlot, but keep getting a macro syntax error when I attempt to apply symbol labels to my scatterplot. The erroneous line referred to in the macro is here:

Set PlottedCurves = SPPage.GraphPages(0).CurrentPageObject(GPT_PLOT)

I am not very familiar with V.B.A. language, however .. anyone know what the problem is?

If you can do awesome graphs in SigmaPlot or know someone who can:
please help me find a SigmaPlot professional who can create scientific graphs to be paid hourly.

e.g. graphs like this (except they don't need to be able to draw animals):
