    Export MySQL database into Access

    Can this be done easily?

I've got two large tables in MySQL (running locally on my machine via WAMP) and I need to export them to Access.

Google has told me I can use ODBC - I've installed it but no idea how to invoke it, that's providing it's the right method.

IF YOU just need to export the tbls to access, I'd forget about ODBC and simply use the CP interface that you have available through your web host, export a delimited file to csv or excel and import it from there. it would take MUCH less time.

I need all the data as well - that was why I exported everything to MySQL so I can play with the data in a comfortable environment to fix broken links and now I need to put it back into Access.

I now have 6 tables, most have a few rows butone table has 6000+ records and another table has 12500+ records.

    Awesome - much appreciated!

    It worked like a charm.

Exported to CSV, loaded into Excel, saved out as XLSX, imported into Access
