How to Import Outlook emails with embedded images

Hi all,

Thank you for allowing me to make my first post on your forum.

I have a small question that I have been going crazy over all week. I have intermediate VB experience but need some help. I keep getting the Long Binary Data error message...



I am trying to import a folder from Outlook to an Access table. (easy)
But in the body of the email I have a few lines of text and then an embedded image of the client.

My question is, How can I import these emails into Access and have Access import the Text AND the Image? The image is not an attachment it is just in the body of the email.

a table in a database has for each field - a defined field type; text, number, date, etc.

one can't import an image into a non image field type. when 2 types of data are co-mingled as you describe - then you will need to manage that into 2 fields.
