    search as you type in combo box


    How do I search as I type in a combo box. My combo box drop down comes from a query in code and the row source type for that is value list. I am not able to type anything in the combo box .Plz help.

    This doesn't make any sense, a combo box can have a value list or a query as a row source not both.

    Yes thats true .My combobox row source is value list and those values are coming from code as a set in onload of the form .Any other help ...

    What you're describing is not computing. Are you saying that when you open your form you have written some code that cycles through a table and builds a value list for a combo box? If you're doing that why not just base the combo box on the table to start with? Why would you go to the trouble of building values that you already have in table?

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
