    form - subform field mapping

I am non-access guy, was given a access job to finish. I have a form which ties to a table with six fields forming the primary key.

I have a dependent table with same six fields included in its primary key definition.

When I try to put sub-form based on dependent table on the main form,
I see it lets me select only three mappings (form fields ---- subform fields).

How can I put more than three mappings? What is my alternative ?

In the properties window for the subform, click on the data tab
There you will see link master fields and link child fields. You can add other ones with semicolons.

By the way, it's not good practice. We usually try and link on just one number field. If you can put an ID field into each table that would be much faster

thank you so much for the reply. I know there has to be a single key but I kind of came in the middle, nothing I can do about the structure. I appreciate your taking the time.
