Post Filtering options using Cascading Combo boxes

    Attachment 3783Hi all
I am stuggling to set up a line of 7 combo boxes that filter down to restrict the user to have only certain options to select.

    Box 1 = price set product range (eg. A, B, C )
    Box 2 = Suppliers (eg. H, I, J )
    Box 3 = Brands (eg. N, M, O)
    Box 4 = Style (eg. R, S, T )
    Box 5 = Colour
    Box 6 = Design
    Box 7 = Finish

    I select C from box 1 - C is selected - all fine
then I select J from Box 2 because J is the only supplier of this Product Range. - all fine.
when I select Box 3 - I need to see only the brand that my supplier (box 2) stocks and that is within the product range (box 1)

But what happens when I select from Brands (box 3) is all the brands that the supplier (box 2) stocks, it has not filtered from box 1.
(by the way the supplier stocks other 'price set product ranges' also)
Question: Why is Box 3 not filtering this correctly - I believe I have set the string of 'one to many' relationships up correctly - or have I?
See my attached Relationships - do I need to rethink how these are set up?

I have finally put together a relationship design that filters one from the other through 7 combo boxes and it works. Please view attachment.

A major problem however is that I have to set up the Join Tables and there is so much set up time and double handling - there has to be a simpler way!!

My question is: Is this the simplist design to filter 7 combo boxes or am I doing it the hard way?????

    Please help!

    thanks in advance
