    Save changes to layout prompt

    Hi everyone,

I have a question concerning a sub-table I have a on a form. It is in a calibrations database for measuring equipment, and the form is used enter information about each measuring device and then enter periodic calibrations for each device. I have the main form display the device info, and then I have a sub-table that displays the information for all the calibrations for that device.

Everything works fine except when I try to close the form I always get a prompt asking me if I would like to save the changes to the sub-table layout. It does this even if I open the form and immediately close it without changing anything.

It's definitely not a bad issue, but it can be annoying. I'm not sure what causes this to happen, and I've fiddled with all kinds of settings and nothing seems to fix it.

Any help with getting this issue resolved would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance,

    Coop

Did you check the on close event of the form?? also is your sub-table is holding saving IDs of your main-table???

I checked the close event action for the form and sub table and there is nothing there. Yes there is a one-to many relationship between the tables, and the sub table uses the id of the main table as the foreign key (I believe thats the correct terminology).
