    Checkbox

    I have an access database. The cell is "plans for shelter" Yes/No. However, when I go to data sheet view, I'm getting a checkbox in it. I won't to be able to use either yes or no in the box. I have other fields with boxes that use yes or no but they don't have the check box.

    Take a look at the Lookup property and make sure that it is set to Text Box and not Check Box. If that's not it, I don't know.
