Adding rows on cross-tab query report

I have a cross-tab query where the columns consist of counts of occurances of data. As well as totalling the column, I also want to total the rows.

I tried a simple equation to add (+) the columns and it works as long as there is a value >0 in the columns. As soon as it finds an empty column, it stops adding.

I tried to use the # in the format of both the query and the report fields, but it didn't work. I feel that if I can get a numeric zero in the query/report field, the addition will work.

    Any suggestions.

    Thanks.

Thank you for the response. I am on vacation and away from my computer (and MS Access) until mid-March ... but I will try it then. I brought my files with me on CD, just in case I find a computer where I can keep working on my project Thanks. KahluaFawn
