    Record Retrieval/Modification Based On Entry

    Hello. . . . .

Okay, please forgive me because I know this is a simple one. Feel free to bust on me and tell me to "RTFM". But I'll be damned if I haven't spent the last two hours and a few the other day trying to find out how to do this.

    Here's what I'm looking to do. . . . .

Build a form that allows the user to enter a value (primary key to a table I have) into a text box, and then have that record pop up so it can be modified. I'd love to have it in a DataSheet view but I'd settle for anything at this point.

    Please educate me!

    Thanks!

The best is Total Access Analyzer (Click Here)

Before you start modifying the datasbe at all I would macke a back up and test/explore on a copy.

Make sure the database is split. See: Splitting your Access database into application and data

I would urge you to learn how to look at the design and step through the process.
