error when entering form information regarding the primary key

This is a common issue and I have tried all suggested solutions but it wont solve the problem.

"Index or primary key cannot contain a null value"

I have checked all my primary keys in all tables and they are correctly placed. I am entering in the information in a form that has two subforms. When entering in the information in the main form it stops me just before going over to the subform and gives me the error. Even though I have entered information in the primary key field.

Make sure that you don't have the table that the subform is based on in the recordsource of the parent form and make sure that the parent form doesn't have the table that the that the parent form is based on is not in the record source of the subform.
