    Desktop Icons

I am able to change the desktop icon for a folder, however I have several Access DBs on desktop all showing the same Access icon. Is it possible to have different icons for each database - if so how is it done? A work around I have found is to move the DBs from desktop to a folder then create a shortcut on desktop which of course allows one to set an icon for the shortcut. I would prefer each actual DB file to have its own unique icon regardless of where I keep it!

i dont really think you can change that, as each icon is a representation of what program is set, by default, to open it. I think that's the actual reasoning, in windows terms.

in development terms, you can change the icon during deployment by including it in a software package...FYI. for instance, with a package made with the ADEs.
