Question Textbox Can't Contain Null Value

    Hi

I have form for entering data to a table, on the form I have textboxes for quantity, Price and another textbox for total which is calculated by =[Quantity]*[Price] which I have placed in the Control Source in properties.

This all works fine until I try to close form and I get the message The fieldMaterials.Total cannot contain a Null value because the Required property for this field is set to True. Enter a value in this field.

I have been into tblMateriaks in design view and checked the Required selection says no but it still brings up this message anyone got any ideas as to why this happening.
