    Graphs/Charts

With the database I am working on- I would like be able to produce graphs for reports that are based on a range of dates. By this I mean that when I am not there to do the work, I would like it to be easy for someone who doesn't know the system to do. Just click a button, input a date and a series of graphs appear for different categories. Is there anyway to do this or something similar?

Graphs in Access can be created from Queries. They are called Pivot Charts.

To create a form that allows your user to enter data as the criteria for the query look at this video. While the video demonstrates a slightly different requirement, it will show you how to set up your form and query.

Hope this helps you get started.

Use a parameter query, and put a graph on a report. It's pretty much that simple. Not sure if you want to use a pivot chart or graph, but I'm sure it doesn't really matter. Either way, an ignorant computer user can read the information in picture format. If I were you, I'd put a graph on a report and use the wizard.
