    Is this possible?

    Hi,

First off let me start by saying thankyou for reading my thread, i hope u can give me some basic insight.

I am not new to computers by anymeans, but definately new to access.

I work for a company with well outdated systems, and my biggest gripe is lack of a database with pricing. I searched for systems everywhere but can't find something. It's driving me bonkers.

Ive created a basic database with three tables "products / suppliers / customers"

    What i need:
We have 1000's of products/ 100's of customers and every customer has UNIQUE pricing (there is no "pricing leves or anything")

It would be good if i could collate at the products with a buy price and some how be able to put markup on it 20% etc but be able to choose what markup and it would spit out the price list for all the products (eg. if i want to run price list for new customer i hit the query or report it pops up with a markup box 30% etc and it will build the pricelist or database for them)

then i can just use reports etc on products

Any advice on the general theme of this would be appreciatced willing to put some effort in on learning more access if this is indeed possible.

Not directly to your base issue, but here is a link to free existing data models that may help you with database structure.
These have Customers, Products, Orders etc. You can use these as a gyide and adjust for your specific needs.

thats a shame. Yeah im fairly comfortable with most those examples.
Was just when it comes to a product, to have a different fields for every customer threw me how to do it.

thanks for the advice i will look beyond access.
