How to automatically populate duplicate entries within Table

    Hello,

    I hope somebody can help.
I'm very new to Access and I'm trying to design a warranty database.
Basically I have all sorts of info in a table and one of them is the serial number. Let's say I enter a new claim with the serial number 123456 in a serial number column in my table and soon as I tab away a list of ID's (previous claims relating to this serial number) would automatically populate in a field called Previous claims. Is this possible?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Veronika

There are at least a couple of ways to approach this. Have you looked at a subform? That's a pretty easy way to get what you want, I think. You would add the subform (based on your claim? table) and then set the master/child link properties to serial number.

That's brilliant. Subform is working and it wasn't as complicated as I thought it was going to be. Thanks a lot for your help !!! )
