Format Excel through VBA

Does anyone have any information on this? (i.e. a list of commands)? I'm trying to format a sheet, which I have never done, and I would like to review a list of commands to know what I can do and can't do. Thanks in advance.

have you tried recording what you want to do first? excel will give you the syntax.
