    summing in a query

    Folks,

    I have two columns, 1) item ID and 2) item value



    All I want to do is get the sum of values for each item.

    I have a query and i have the totals set to sum for the item values.

    WHen I run the query is is yielding values that are wayyyyy too high.... any thoughts??
